ABOUT ME

I'm Jacqui White, a Certified Professional Life Coach. I'm a 2015
graduate of The Co-Active Training Institute.
Like many people, I spent a good part of my life feeling stressed and
anxious. As a child and young adult, I didn't believe in myself very much,
I didn't feel like I fit in, belonged, or was good enough. I was nervous and anxious, and that led me to make poor choices that impacted my happiness. I'm not uncomfortable talking about the challenges I faced in my life, because I've learned so much. I'm grateful for the people who were there for me with love and support.
Psychology was my major in school, and that gave me a good foundation, but the real change for me came about when I went to The Co-active Training Institute to study. I enrolled to learn how to help others and ended up helping myself. It was transformational learning that opened my eyes to a broader perspective, one that led me to realize peace, and feel joy, in my everyday life.
Along with my coaching certification, I also have certificates from The Mindful Schools to teach children and young adults, as well as certificates in Non-violent Communication and Managing Difficult Emotions.
However, to my mind, the best credential I have is my personal experience with emotional pain. It provides me the compassion to truly listen, with my heart.
I've learned that we can develop awareness of our thoughts and emotions, and how powerfully they influence our patterns of behavior. This isn't about changing who we are, it's about learning to bring out the best of ourselves, for ourselves, and the people we care about.
This is a lifelong process of learning and I'm all in for the journey.
I'm grateful for the support and love of my family, including my dog/friend, Rodeo.
